What I shall do, I know not; what I would Cannot be done; for see, this chamber-floor Will not yield to the pick-axe and the spade,--Here is no quiet depth of hollow ground. Conrad. The Definitive Edition
By Mark Mann
There is simply no better edition of Keats in existence. However, if you are coming to Keats for the first time you'll be better off with an edition containing substantive annotations; Stillinger's notes are virtually all on textual matters (the Oxford Authors edition edited by Elizabeth Cook is a fine choice). The text established by Stillinger is unlikely to be surpassed for years to come. If you want an edition of Keats's complete poetic output in a reliable scholarly text, then this is the edition for you. For the Keats aficionado, this book is a godsend.

John Keats' poetry in a beautiful, leather bound edition by The Easton Press
By Z Hayes
There is something infinitely soothing about a quiet fall day and engrossing myself in a volume of poetry, and what better volume of poetry than that of John Keats'? He is one of my favorite poets, and I've revisited his poems year after year since my days in college. Finally, I have a beautiful volume by The Easton Press to add to my home library. John Keats' words are immortal but it's certainly nice to see his words encased in a leather bound volume!
This 1980 Easton Press edition is a collector's edition and comes bound in beautiful, dark brown leather with gilt details on the covers and spine. The moire endleaves and satin ribbon pagemarker are another distinctive feature of this series. The introduction by Aileen Ward does a credible job of providing an overview of Keats' life and work. Another highlight of this volume is the gorgeous illustrations by David Gentleman. To sum up, this is a beautiful volume that is heirloom quality and will provide great joy to the discerning reader and lover of poetry.
